Question Starting Problum

Well hopefully I can get some good advise as to were to look. My 95 Ranger v6 4.0 automatic will start fine if it has been sitting for some time (over night). But then if I go to start it after it has been running or even a short time after running, the only way I can get it to start is by pressing the fuel pedal down all the way and kind of faning it alittle. I replaced the IAC valve already, battery is good, and theres no codes.

Any ideas as to what the problum might be or what to try would be great help.

Check for spark and fuel at the fuel rail, and then go from there.

What maintenance items have you done in the last few years? I would start by checking the fuel pressure. It should be 35 PSI.

haven't, only had the truck for about 2 1/2 months now. I'll check that, could it posibly be the fuel filter?
