make sure they are tight and not cross threaded, i race motocross and i put 2 top ends in my bike before i realized that the plug was loose, if thats not it make sure they are the right plug also.

A loud tick could be spark arcing Make sure all wires are seated correctly and in good shape. if it is a spark arc, it will be easier to spot in the dark

i took it to ford and thy gave me sum bad news. i guess when i was puting the last plug in, in cylinder 6, which is right under the ac unit, i screwed it in and it was crooked, causing a cross thread. they had to re-thread my cylinder and it costed me 250 bucks

I would absolutely have refused to pay that much money. I would be raising such pandemonium in there that by the time I was done, they would be paying me to leave. They are absolutely lying about the labor time.
