Lets see, I paid 5k for my 97 stock back in 2003. Then ultimatly traded it for this '01, after a TON of money, mods and work!. I bought a 98 2wd for 1k in 2004 and after a series of trades, ended up with my '96 plow truck, wich was stock. I then added the plow and a bunch of other things to that. We bought a 2000 jeep cherokee sport for 5k in 2006 and traded that straight up for our 99 expedition in 2009. Overall, I think I have done very well

I paid $16,240 OTD thru AAFES for the truck in my sig. Purchased with 0 miles on it in July 08! No haggling with the dealer. Ordered thru AAFES and that was the price they gave me. Valued at $18,250 retail today.

KBB pricing is way overblown to the point of being absurd. Look at Black Book and add $2000 and that should be about right for private party sale.
Rangers depreciate horribly.
Mine was 19800 out the door and has 19000 miles on it......KBB has it valued at $21,000?????????? Anyone who trusts KBB call me and I'll sell a bridge to you cheap!
