You can just take the sway bar off and save the money, you dont really need it and your truck will flex better offroad. You will just have a little more body roll. Mines coming off when the lift goes in next week!

I might take them off and see how it feels. I don't plan on doing much off roading with her so it might be better to replace them.

Update:
I replaced the broken one. It took a hack saw to remove lol. Ohio winters turned the one long bolt into a big ol' rusty turd. Replacing the other one tomorrow.

It turns out that all the clunking my truck is making is coming from the yoke for the drive shaft. It's sticking and making a racket.
Next mission: learn how to grease the drive shaft yoke.

These factory links break all the time. I had the same thing along with the clunk. I ordered a kit from JC Whitney with new polyurethane bushings for the bar and new links and hardware. 40 bucks. Once warm weather gets here I will change it, which I will need to do before June vehicle inspection. A broken link would flunk me and cost me 50 dollars for a failed inspection.

+1 in case someone stumbles across this 6 year old thread with a similar question.

A couple years ago mine broke just like yours did. I drove around like that for at least 2 weeks wondering wtf the jingling/pinging noise was. I couldn't source it as it only happened over a bump.

It wasn't until I was doing an oil change and rotated the tires that I saw it broken. I just went to rockauto and got upgraded ones and changed them. Super easy and cheap to do.

+2 on the not driving without them. Sway bars are a good thing, and unless you are off roading I can't see why anyone would want to remove them during normal driving. Hell on my STi I bought the largest diameter ones possible. They most definitely make a difference in turn in and driving on twisty roads.
