I was always taught to put the antenna on the back, right side to "aim" you directional to on comming traffic on the the other side of the highway. Is that thinking incorrect then???

Dual antennas need to be 10 ft apart to work properly and they do not get out well at all off the sides. I am a Ham operator and a Cber with serious equipment and duals on a pickup are not recommended. The best place for an antenna is on the roof and Wilson magnet mounts are the best magnet mounts around for Cb also known as 11 meters.
