Default steering wheel rocks when brakes pressed

my truck shakes and the steering wheel rocks left and right when i press the brakes at about 35-45 mph and i just put new rotors on a few thousand miles ago. Wondering if maybe its tie rods or something else. Any ideas?

I would jack up the front end and grab the wheels and move them to see if there is any play in the tie-rods and bj's. If the problem wasnt there before the rotor swap, then perhaps one of the rotors are warped, or the caliper is sticking or loose

if it shook violently before its possible that caused the TR's to go bad. THe wheel bearings might need to be repacked and tightend back up also.

----------

you should be able to gain alot of info while jacked up. ONly do one side at a time. if the knuckle moves with the TR, I would suspect wheel bearings. if there is slop between the knuckle and TR, then the TR is bad. Of course were talking about doing this without moving the wheel enough to turn the steering wheel.

i agree with pooleo it sounds like a wheel bearing or a tie rod

sounds like warped rotors to me but its not a bad idea to check for worn suspension parts too.
