Default OBD2 Scanner and ABS Scanner

Since I like most others on this board prefer doing my own work on my trucks. I am on the hunt looking for an OBD2 scanner and one that wll also scan the ABS system and any other system.

In everybodies experience what company makes the best affordable option. Also does anybody know of one that could be loaded to my future cell phone. Blackberry or Android. It does not matter.

I have the scan gauge on my truck. It will read any code the truck produces as well as monitor a number of parameters, although the ABS system is not one of them (other than codes).

My Actron does that. It was $200ish though.

They have an android app OBD2 + extra stuff. you just need to buy a cheap bluetooth sensor they cost about 30 to 50 bucks.

The app is called Torque, they have a free version, but the payed one it's only 5 bucks.

All in all way cheaper than what they sell in the store.

Superlifted06 and Acroma thanks for the information. I will have to look into both of those ideas and see which will work for me.

Acroma- have you tried out this app and does it work really well.
