which do yall like better fiberglass antennas or metal ones. i like the look of the fiberglass ones but i like my wilson 1000 alot for the power. do fiberglass ones have the power of a 1000. which do yall like better power and look wise

Best antenna I have ever used was the Wilson 6 ft fiberglass mounted to the back bumper with a securing loop at the top of the bed holding it.

Ran a Galaxy 88 and a Black Widow Texas Star pre-amp/modulator. Old school, this was back in 1994. Still the best setup I have ever used. We used to radio race on the highest hills with local base stations and you'd hear someone keying up on a hill in their ranger going over guys running Washington base stations on linears and Antron 99 antennas or moon raker beams. GOOD TIMES!

There is no performance difference. A fiberglass antenna is just a metal whip with fiberglass around it for looks.
