Hey guys. Sorry for the abruptness of this first post; however, I'm in need of some serious troubleshooting help. I have an '02 Ranger and while I was driving home a few days ago the truck started behaving oddly when I would try and accelerate. It would hesitate to respond to accelerating and then overly respond if that makes sense. I am a total newb to car maintenance; however, given my financial situation it's high time I learned.

Here is a video of the way the truck is behaving when idle. I am not pressing the accelerator at all. It idles low ... then up ... then dies. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

i think it might be a dirty IAC valve

Just a courtesy follow up: It turned out to be my MAF sensor. I tried to clean it several times with no luck. Replaced it and all was well.
