Fiberglass hood think it is worth the money to fix or not

Any guess on what it might cost to fix?

Actually.....weight difference is HUGE! Fiberglass hood is far heaviler than your guy's aluminum hoods.

Was found on 01-03 XLT 4x4's and Edge trucks. Unbolting one and bolting back on to a double lifted ranger = not much fun. lol.

To answer the question, I'd say if it's cheap enough, do it! You've gotta paint it anyway and do glass work anyway to make it fit the 04+ front ends. Did some fiberglass work to my brothers little kit car a few years back....had some cracks that we cured by dremeling the cracks open and uniform, filled in with fiberglass filler(almost like bondo), sanded smooth, couldn't tell there was anything wrong with it after prime and paint. Those cracks look like they're only on the outside skin, so it's good to go. If it's on the underside skin, I honestly wouldn't bother with the hood.

My hood feels way to heavy to be aluminum. Tomorrow I'm going to put a magnet on it

The power dome hoods are as heavy as the old (70' to 80's) full size Ford truck hoods, if you can handle that hood by yourself, you be a bigger, better man than I.
I would guess, it will cost a couple hundred and probably more to get it repaired.
I have only seen one power dome hood in a wrecking yard around here, it sold for $400 the same day they got it.
They are common on trucks here, but not in ASY's.

i do glass repairs on the side for people with spa's that tend to crack do to sun / chemicals / abuse, and it looks like the core of that is broke and on a hood the first time you let some dork slam your hood it will crack AGAIN save your cash get the one in mint shape!

I've slammed mine(hell i slam it every time) and stood on it and even hit it accidently with my lawn mower....and is in perfect shape. And I'm no way considered a 'small guy'. it cracked due to running into something and/or during the wreck(look at the impact dents on the fenders.... I've never seen a roll over without a cracked hood...
