Default water infiltration

Hi all, hope someone can help me. I purchased a used 05 2wd ranger about a yr. ago. for the last couple of months I would notice a puddle of water on the passenger side on the floor. yesterday after it had rained the previous night, there was the puddle again and when I lifted up the mat there was a large puddle. I checked the door and window trim and they were dry and they appear to be in good shape. the other times when I noticed the puddle it wasn't even rainning. thanks in advance

Things that come to mine

Windshield/Glass Leak
"Heater Core"-Though I thought they would go all at once, and Im sure you'd notice that, but since it seems to be just water....
Door Seal-Thins is what I'm banking on, check the seal on the top of the door, my drivers side leaked some, it had come away from the metal. Just give it a good check, make sure its acually sealed there, and has no tears or anything.

I've heard of 3rd brake light assemblies leaking and allowing water in down the back glass and to the floor. I'd also check the AC condenser drain to be sure that it's clear; I've seen those block and push water back into the cabin (in other vehicles anyway).

Red face Re: water infiltration

If he means the little drain in the firewall down infront of the passenger side, then look there, not sure what its called

How is your truck sitting when this happens, level or on a sort of incline? I just repaired a third break light/headliner leak, but I dont see that being it unless youre on an incline, or theres A LOT of water lol.

usually my truck is parked in my driveway which is pretty level except for the slight undulation because I need it to be repaved.
