Is there anything 550 cord cant do?
well i was passing a tractor on the highway the other day and when i shifted and stepped on the gas again i noticed my truck wasn't really accelerating at all so i pull over to see whats wrong and i found out that my throttle connection had slipped off the barrel that holds it on because that was bent. so i try to bend it back and it ends up snapping off so here i am stuck on the side of the road with no connection between my throttle cable and my engine so i go and see what i have lying around in the truck and i remembered i had some Paracord in my book bag so a few knots and some bubba rigging later here is the end result

Looks good,I always carry a wire coat hanger with me + other goodies even though mines a 09 you just never know.

i have it switched out with the throttle body from my parts truck now but i saved the 550 cord lol

Old war story disclaimer....
Back in Iraq, we had truck that was steering funny. It was an older model that we got from the unit before us. One of the CV boots was being held on with 550 cord and zip ties. Between that and 100 mph tape you can fix anything.
