Default Build a Raptor equivalent - cheaper and better?

Check out this awesome race truck - I believe it is a 8000 class- so aside from no glass and a custom caging - its not far off from what most offroad enthusiasts would build for a Daily Driver.

This was a ecoboost test truck built by mongo racing and it is truly slick. It uses stock mounting points and a little inginuity to create 11 inches of front travel and 15 inches of rear travel - but with more shock power than a Raptor (and more rear travel). I dont believe it is a 4x4 but you could probably do the same with a 4x4 since all suspension components are stock width and stock shock locations on the lower end (it doesnt even have bluged glass fenders and it pumps 37" rubber!)

The front end it really sweet. They opened up the top of the stock coilover mount and put a big 3" SAW coilover thru it bolted into a engine cage.. and something ive never seen before.. they also put a smaller 2.0 resi SAW shock off the top of the upper control arm to help with dampening - pretty trick since you couldnt fit it on the lower arm!

The rear uses a bed cage with what looks like 3" SAW bypasses since theyre pretty big. They even use Ford leaf springs, but they take away and trim springs to get the right lift and stiffness.

Besides suspension, most everything is stock except for bracing and plating, the cage, bumpers, a custom intake for clearance and, a different power steering pump.

My point is that this is a sweet truck, with a simple effective build. It would be a great DD (obviously with the cab intact) and could be built for less then a raptor. It is also something that could be built in stages- which is what we most all do) - not to mention the sweet turbo sound and gas mileage

I just thought Id share because cool trucks like these make me excited
