Default Brakes Bleed Forever?

So on my 83 i swapped in a brake booster today as it came with manual brakes. Got the booster and master cylinder in, fabbed up new brake lines to the proportioning valve no problem. Bleed from furthest to closest: first 3 wheels no problem. Drivers wheel I've bled for an hour of "up, up... Down, down".

Fluid level drops, so I know it IS bleeding, but it never gets fluid. I get straight air coming oiut forever. No fluid leaks anywher at all.

What gives?

you should take the line off and pump the brakes till fluid comes out... then reattach and bleed them...

If I remove the line from the caliper and pump them to start fluid going won't I be sucking up air too??

Maybe if I pull the bleeder bolt OUT and open the master cylinder to let it "flooooowww"?
