Re: driveshaft leaking at transmission
I'm assuming this is due to the lift neccessitating a longer driveshaft, and it's pulling the slip yoke out, and putting latteral stress on the output shaft seal.
Options1: longer slip yoke, MIGHT work, maybe, probably $80
Option 2: slip yoke elimination/ double CV rear drive shaft ~$500-$600, never have a driveshaft problem again

Re: driveshaft leaking at transmission
my truck did this when it was stock. the yoke was leaking right behind the transmission. when i got it fixed you couldnt replace just the seal i had to get a whole new driveshaft. i was still under warranty so only $50 for me

Re: driveshaft leaking at transmission
Place to get either? I have no idea for a Ranger.
For my Jeep I got a longer slip yoke from Rubicon Express (now in reorginization, lovely)
Several companies make slip yoke eliminators.
Considering your going from the transmission output (not the tcase), its going to be a LOT harder to find a company that makes a slip yoke eliminator for the transmission shaft. And it WILL mean removing your transmission, and taking it apart, to put the new main shaft in it to put a slip yoke eliminator in.
I'd say take it to a shop that only does driveshafts, and see what they suggest.
IF YOU CAN::: Get a longer slip yoke (for more travel in and out of the tranny with the rear axles movement now having a greater range of motion)
AND get a longer driveshaft made so your not stretching yours almost out every time your rear end stretches out.

Re: driveshaft leaking at transmission
If its any consolation I snapped the chain in my Jeep's Tcase today driving around the neighborhood (seriously), and now gotta get a new tcase/slip yoke eliminator (as mine got destroyed) at least the driveshaft is ok
