Default Fluid change

Hey guys. Im going to change the fluids in my 94 raqnger 4x4. I
know how to change the oil in the manual trans and rear differential. My question is what is the best way to change the front differential and the transfer case. I see a plug on the front of the dana 35 and thought maybe I need to suck it out. As far as the transfer case I have no idea. Any help would be great you guys. Thanks

If you can suck the fluid out of the front differential, do so. The differential cover is a nightmare to get at. A couple of the bolts, on the top left (driver's side) might come out but they are so close to the frame, even if you could get them out, getting them back in would be damn near impossible. The fluid is 80W90.

The transfer case should have two plugs. One to drain and one to fill. They are on the back side of the case. It's an easy change. Just check your manual on what fluid to use. If I remember correctly, some use Mercon V and others use another fluid.

Yeah when I looked at the front and seen how it was made I said screw that. I will ether suck it out or take it to a mechanic. I knew the transfer case wouldnt be hard, just finding the drain and fill bolts. Thanks for the info
