Default Is This Tire Usable?

Hi folks, just hoping to get some opinions on whether or not this tire can be mounted. The bead itself is ok, just a tear in the rubber that lies on top of it. as far as i know its the bead that seals so im thinking (and hoping) its ok...i could be wrong though.

Any opinions/advice would be very much appreciated!!

Thanks,

Mike

With the way a tire flexes taking corners, going over bumps, etc. I wouldn't mount that tire. That tear could become a massive hole in no time.

Nope, The tire is no good for use. A really hot day and pow she's gone. Or an alignment issue and she's gone. Hell, even a little brake heat and that bead will pop. About the only use you'd get would be using it to stabilize an old engine block in your truck bed while transporting it to a machine shop somewhere and that's about it.

Sell it to the owner of a new Dodge truck, the chrysler trasmission will go out long before that tire blows.
