Look at your newer Ranger and look at the throttle cover black plastic cover. On mine one corner was rubbing against this one aluminum looking line. I had to use some snips and cut that corner of the black plastic piece.


CHECK YOUR THROTTLE COVER TO MAKE SURE IT DOES NOT RUB AGAINST ANYTHING.

Yes, it's a recall. Ford would have did it for you. There was a disccussion about it in this recall thread. I posted photos of before and after the throttle body cover was trimmed by Ford.
