Lol those are HUGE!!! You can order almost any diesel in a crate engine! they are just stupid expensive

I figured as much. Considering that one of CAT's 2 or 3 cylinder diesel starts at about as much as a 572 big block chevy! and they're about the same size too. Those engines I mentioned earlier wouldn't even fit in the bed of a Ranger much less fit between the frame rails. It would be kool to see something like that though.

I forget the name of the company off hand but they do sell a Ford Ranger Cummins 6.0 turbo diesel swap kit for a reasonable price. Oh, do you remember Torque Master by any chance?

Re: The future of the ranger...
I read somewhere in one of the automotive magazines (don't remmember
which) that the ranger replacment would be a Dakota-like mid-size. It
would called F-100. This was a couple of years ago.

Call it B.S. because it was supposed to be for this year's model and called the FR-100, and it was supposed to have a V8 and diesel engine too. Ford never persued it. Shame on them.

Re: The future of the ranger...
There it is. Torque Master Headers. I found them, turbonetics has bought that company. It's one of their brands listed at the bottom of their catalog. They have a new Turbo out too. TNX-122 mm! 2,500 plus with a single turbo! www.turboneticsinc.com choose their PDF catalog and go to the very last page to see Torque Master headers listed at the bottom.
