Re: Whats your summer project for your truck?
Off the top of my head...
- Billet grille
- Remove stock "Ford" and "Ranger" Emblems from tailgate
- Tailgate handle relocation
- Finish painting interior trim to black
- LED mod all 'round
- HID kit, if they're legal 'round here
- Undercoating
- A good polish and wax
- Take the thing off road

Re: Whats your summer project for your truck?
I want to go from this:
To this:
Of course, this very much depends on the cash flow. Also, that's not a shot of my truck. Just one I Googled up. Mine has some small extras here and there like chromed mirrors and chrome sidesteps.

I'll start with the stuff you can see like the front end and the rear axle then the wheel wells then then work on the middle.
The other little project I'm gonna do is install some kind of lighting in the bed. I already have lights in my cap but I'll be taking it off for the summer and using my tauno cover so I'll also have to install rod holder under the cover somehow cause I plan on fishing alot. Since my backup lights are on the cap, I'll need to install some backup lights on the truck itself.
What are you guys planning on doing to your trucks over the summer?

I plan on deatailing the outer apperance of my ranger, and start collecting Ranger parts for my 1923 T-bucket project. Plus I also plan on building my frame for my T-bucket project from scratch. I use only the best quality junk, L.O.L.

Re: Whats your summer project for your truck?
well iv'e done a few spur of the moment changes to my ranger new shiney lugnuts which was a upgrade from the 20 year old rusted ones i had,at least my polished aluninum mags look better now,and tinted my side windows just used the cheap doit yourself stuff since old door glass has scratch lines from being old but it's nicer looking and protects my interior from the elements, also bought some really great cammel brown leather seude thats so soft n perfect for a new headliner and dash cover,n maybee door panels, wish i had enough for reapolstering seats. i mean i was so lucky i got this good of seude and on clearance sale to. man i gotta alot of stuff to do to my ol'snakey but like everyone else money is the holdup n with our soring gas prices it a'int getting easier espeically when im needing to look into new tires n shocks this summer, shocks are cheap but tires are $160 a peice :OUCH!:
