I don't see the point in buying a motor that is fully tuned out...... The 5.0 is na and has 5 less hp you toss a whipper on it and you well over 500 hp and that doesn't even touch the potential of it

if you don't want to build out a new motor. I'd go Eco over 5.0. They're much quicker, and get better fuel economy. My dads 5.0 drags ass... It's soooo slow.

What about it? For the amount of money spent on any newer engine you'll get better results out of a 7.3PST

good luck finding a 7.3 powerstroke with under 100k for less than 30k... If i want to spend money on a new truck i'll drop 40k on a brand new 6.2 or 5.0 that has a warranty.

Mid engine 7.3PST in a S10 ran a 10.8 1/4 the first pass ever. Can't even fathom what they have it at now. I'll try and find the video. There's another mid engined s 10 on YouTube that was a bigger diesel I believe. I think that ran a 9 second 100 mph

There's a 2005 f350 with 76k that got creamed. Its only like the cab, the engine, and tranny left but my JY said 5 grand takes it all.
