I don't see how, the Taurus was always ugly in my opinion. They used the popular bitch method, similar to that used during the era of civil rights, and welfare.

I am not familer with this "bitch" method you speak of. I dont think the save the Ranger page will have a big impact though. IMO.

Nor would I. Why would Ford want to keep making the Ranger when they obviously can't sell it the way they used to? There's no point in having a compact pickup when all the other competitors now have mid sized, especially when the compact costs just as much as a full size and gets the same gas mileage (obviously the reg cab 4 cylinder Ranger doesn't get the same mileage, but how many of those do they sell to people compared to say an ex cab 4X4). It makes absolute sense from a business perspective to axe the Ranger and move on to maybe creating a whole new line of mid sized pickups.

IIRC Ford wanted to axe the Mustang after Chevy dropped the Camaro in '02 … the fans had none of that BS and complained loudly about it.

The Taurus was saved because Alan Mually was a Taurus fan. Hes not a Ranger fan so all hope is lost.

This is just a feeling, and only that, but i'm gonna laugh my ass off when the base price of an F150 skyrockets as soon as the Ranger is no longer available as a new model year vehicle. And well, frankly, when you use the same technology on a vehicle repeatedly for 10 years or so, gas mileage is gonna suffer. Ford did absolutely nothing to up the Ranger in it's ratings/dimensions, therefore it's obviously not gonna sell. Americans like the next big new thing, which always sells since the majority of the American buying public is dimwitted. The Ranger platform is not new therefore it isn't selling. Makes sense from a common sense perspective.

A bunch of people liking a Facebook page isn't going to bring back the Ranger. They're not selling nearly as many as they used too. So again, a bunch of people liking a page isn't going to increase sales.

Exactly.

And I kinda doubt they would raise the price of the F150, as they would probably try to keep it competitive with the other big names.
