I have a razor sharp spring assisted (not a switch blade) stiletto blade styled folder in my pocket and a large can of bear spray under the seat, and a 36" Stanley crowbar in the back for extra umph. Sometimes I have my sks or mossberg 500 persuader in cougar, moose and bear country.

Gerber multi-tool and my Glock 19 always on my hip with spare mag in the center console. Ruger GP-100 (.357 Magnum) on my side when I go hunting, camping, hiking, off-roading, or while riding my motorcycle. Remington 870 security (12 guage) hidden in the truck for the incase factor.
