follow your plug wires, theyre on the engine block, under the cyl heads. and use a deep socket to change them, not sure what size. sometimes they can be a pain

you don't have to remove anything everything can be reached from top of the hood.

do you have a body lift? if not then all of yours are accessible from the top of the engine.

You will want to use a spark plug socket, not just any old wrench or socket. The ones on the driver side are pretty easy to reach from the top.

The ones on the passenger side can be very difficult if you have air conditioning. The AC equipment as well as various coolant hoses are all in the way. If you can not reach it from the top, you can usually reach them from the inside the wheel well. This is made much easier by pulling the wheel off.

Since I'm guessing you are rather new to doing your own work, if you choose to go in through the wheel well by taking the wheel off, jack the front end up and rest it on jack stands. DO NOT rely on the jack to hold the truck up while you are wedged in there unless you want to die.
