Default Gas Over Flow ?!?

Every time i go to get gas, the pump stops after not even one gallon of gas and even spews out gas onto the ground. Little erritating when gas prices are so high and when it gets on my pants Lately ive just been pumping the gas at a very slow rate to keep it from spilling over.

Ive already taken the bed off and pulled the fill hose, the vent line is fine. There is a little plastic thing inside the tank that kinda keeps the gas from spitting into the tank... i just held it down with a hose clamp.

any suggestions people??

I presume you've tried to get gas somewhere else and it does the same thing?

I'd laugh if he took his bed off and got a new filler hose and worked on his tank all because of a faulty gas pump.

I've had the same issue (only a little less severe) and found that different nozzles just need to be at different angles.... that could be a different situation though....
