you know what!?!? Its reasonable to believe that he test drove this truck before he bought it, the seats are the same, the performance is the same and extra cab is the same. Perhaps he shouldnt have bought it and if he got it from a relative then sell it and buy something that suits you. I grow weary of so many people who buy cars and then bitch about it and do nothing. If you are worried about performance and size then why the hell did you buy a Smart fortwo.....

Also, a test drive which lasts 30 mins at most will not tell you everything about a vehicle, its all about research beforehand. I research every major purchase to the point that I ask questions the sales people have no clue about. You guys are hopping on the defensive train too soon here.

Id like a full size truck that gets 18, and costs what a ranger does.

Perhaps a Civic Hatchback will be up to par for you.

Much more powerfull than a ranger (with V-tec and all)

And youll get great gas mileage. I hear they are quite comfortable as well. Im sure the glare from the sun on the dash cluster will annoy you though. Yeah you better not get one then.

Almost as much HP as the 3L
seats 4 and 1 one driver
great on gas not so much on smell
2 APD instead of MPG (apples per day)
seats suck though and so does the um do you call it a suspension.

Firstly, I would like to say that I too get 16-20MPG in my full size, but would much rather get a lower MPG in a smaller truck. Why? Because the tank is cheaper to fill. $40 to fill my full size from half a tank is a lot of money, considering half a tank is about half a week for me.

Secondly, you can find comfier seats. I broke my back a while back ago and find a hard time finding a seat that's comfortable as well, but they make seat covers that will help.

Thirdly, if you do plan on trading the truck in even if you do decide to make a few changes to hopefully help you out, think long and hard: do you really need a truck? It sounds like a car may suit you better comfort wise.

i do agree that the seats in my 06 are pretty hard, and the lumbar support doesn't adjust enough for me. However, I think thats to be expected when buying a truck, especially a more budget friendly truck such as a Ranger.
