I guess I expected them both to make some sort of difference, and the zip ties did and rightfully so it's a pretty simple concept, take slack out of the line and feel a snappier throttle response.

In removing the snorkel however I did NOT expect an increase in actual nor perceived hp but I was hoping for a difference audibly. And I can't hear ANY difference what so ever. But again that's my own opinion. Maybe my ears are "junk" Lol

I thought this was a thread about snorkels

i sont think i heard a difference when we did morgans 3.0, but my 4.0 i could hear a difference with the silencer.

98 2wd 2.5, 5 speed, dropped with some stuff done

the snorkel mod on an SOHC with magnaflows (mine) did produce more "sound" but thats it.

reversed the air box mod on mine after having it off little over a year. Engine runs better with the little bit of more restricted air. And the Throttle cable mod is a A+ mod IMO.
