do you have any pictures of how the tank is mounted to the truck? if its not in the way of the part of the frame that the hitch would mount to i dont see a reason why it wouldnt fit.

Anything is possible if you can weld or cut a hole just enough to put a thick bolt through the frame.

im curious as to what that plate is thats bolted to the frame rail with those 3 bolts. IIRC thats where the hitch would bolt to. only issue i could see with mounting a hitch would be the ability to get a wrench and nuts on the bolts that hold the hitch on because the gas tank would be in the way.

I go look at that later. The tank is really easy to get off so I can just take that off if i have too.

Thanks guys for you help and input.

----------

O and what kind of hitch should i get? the III? Because I be mostly using it to tow a small fishing boat and if i get stuck, then some one can pull me out. Should i bolt it in and weld it? Do people weld in hitches???

Ya all you got holding it in is 2 bolts. I put a jack under it too because my gage was mess up and i had gas in it still, shit i didn't know lololol, but ya its pretty easy. Using a jack helps to if your doing it by your self like i was.

Ya but you need like 2 people for the bed, well for me lol my bolts were all rusted at the time, and now i got spray in bed-liner that covers the bed bolts up so I cant take off my bed now lololol.
