Yes I do, when I bought the truck the spare was sliding around in the bed.
It "looks" like it used to have a factory mounting tab on the rear left corner (by the rear tank filler neck, inside the bed).

I made my own tire mount right behind the driver vertically. I call it a "hip-side". slightly up and behind the driver like an ollllllld truck. I'll post a pic if I can (haven't tried on this forum)

Not a problem. I just learned it all as I was doing all my wrenching this past few weeks (major teardown:motor/tranny/axles/suspension/brakes)

Having to give up cab or bed space would be a show stopper for me. I need every inich of space when I'm heading to the track for a race.

My spare tire in mounted right behind the cab on the side of the bed
