Default Comfort for a tall guy

Hi guys , I am considering a Ranger . Switching from F150s . I am 6'3'' with 35 in inseam . Is the Ranger going to be too cramped for me ? I have never rode in one . I will test ride a few , but even a test drive isn't going to be an accurate picture of ownership , and long ride comfort .

Might be pushing it bud. I'm 5'9" and I didn't have too much headroom left. Definetly test drive one to see but i think you may be uncomfortable in the long run.

I would suggest the extended cab for that extra room so you slide your seat back if necessary. I am 6'2 and my seat isnt even all the way back and I have plenty of room. Tilt steering might help ( i have it one mine). The Seats are comfortable but could use more lumbar support, but I would feel comfortable to do a 9 hour trip no problem

wow. at my height, I am not even worried about the head space. I don't have an issue with it

I'm 5'11" and i fit in a regular cab 1997 just fine. My cousin is about 6'6", and he fit in the passenger side well. I would agree with the Crowd on getting an extended cab, you'll appreciate the extra room, especially since your going from an F-150 to a Ranger. If you do however decide to go regular cab, I believe in 1998 they added another 3in. onto the cab. That may not seem like much, but that extra room may come in handy.

I'd go extended cab. When i first sat in the ranger, i freaked out about how little space there was compared to my compact car, but i got used to it after a few days. Now i think it's just right.

Wouldn't go for the simple cab because i like the extra interior space.

Im 6'1" with a 34" inseam and i have no issue with legroom in my extended cab. i run with my seat all the way back and its comfortable to me, i wouldnt suggest a standard cab though. if i were you i would test drive a couple of them and see how you fit.

i'm 6'3" and pretty damn skinny, but i fit in my regular cab extremily well, the seat is all the way back but really it's perfect for me. i think i was reading somewhere that after '98 the regular cab trucks got 3" of extra space behind the seats for more legroom, and when compaired to my dad's old '94 B2300 (ranger) that was cramped for him at 5'9", my '00 is great!

I'm 6'3ish....and over weight. Haha.

Get the extended cab, or don't get a ranger.

I'm 6'2" and I am comfortable in mine. When my hair gets bushy on the top of my head it rubs on the headliner and bugs me. I get a haircut and that 1/2 to 1 inch difference is all I need.
I like my Ranger much more than I thought I would.
