Default Can you adjust the steering box on a '95 Ranger 2wd?

I've got new tie rods/ends, ball joints, coil springs, shocks, and just had the front end aligned.

The car steers pretty good, but the guy who did the alignment took it for a test drive afterwards and said he felt like there was a bit of slop in the steering box. Nothing that's a huge deal, but maybe eventually do something about it.

Anyways, I know on some vehicles they can be tightened a bit. Can it be done on my Ranger? Is there a proper procedure for doing so without ruining the steering box.

I won't adjust it much, but I think just a wee bit tighter would make driving it a bit more pleasent.

Not a big enough problem that warrants replacing the whole steering box.
