Default Wet engine problems

I left the hood up on my 01 3.0 and it rained all night. She started fine in the morning but ran really crappy. Like it was running on 4 cylinders. I tried to dry plug wires and TPS switch with a hair dryer with no improvement. Any ideas?

Default Re: Wet engine problems

u prob have bad spark plug wires of coil is cracked. easy way to find out is to grab a spray bottle with soapy water and spray the wires while its running and also spray coil and u will be able to see if the wires are arcing on the valve covers and or the coil is arcing out. that will def point out where the problem is if they are bad or not. good luck!
