Should I trade my Ranger for another? My ranger is covered in dents and scratches, had a bunch of frame rust and has a 3.slow

Im thinking of maybe getting 4.0 4x4
I think my Ranger is worth about $5000 as is

For trade in value, cut KBBs in half for a more accurate one. When I was trying to trade in my Camaro I had offers ranging from $2300-$3200 at the max; KBB said I should get around $4500 in trade in

You prob wouldnt get more than 2k on a trade. as far as private party I would ask for what you think its worth but be prepared to let it go for alot less due to the damage. A buyer will def use the damage as a negotiating tool.

KBB is pretty much worthless when it comes to value.
For a "close" value amount, goto ANY bank or lending center and ask for "Current Loan Value". ((No, it isn't the same as kbb))
For an exact quote ask said bank or lender if they can give an "On-Site appraisal".

i circled where the dents are, the scratches are everywhere

and whoever had it last did towing with the bumper so its a bit messed up
