Default HELP! Driveshaft slides out of transmission?

Was un-doing my flip kit, and im leaking crazy red fluid, from where the drive shaft meets the tranny. There is a u joint close to the tranny, and into the transmission there is a shaft that has slid out, not all the way, but about 8 or so inches. I can see that the shaft is shiny, and that is where the fluid is coming from. Can i just push it back in? Have i broken a seal? Has anyone had this happen?

its pretty much a plug, you slide it back in and it stops leaking.

The yoke on my drive shaft started to wear out so I did the cowardly thing and had the dealership replace the whole drive shaft, now I'm good to go. What is a flip kit? I'm still new to the truck group.
