I have the mechanic do the oil changes and such. He uses Pennzoil. Run it in the Ranger, my dad's Safari, and we ran it in the old Astro. Ranger and Safari run like a top. Astro did to.

Yep, Nothing wrong with Pennzoil.

These days tho just about any synthetic name brand oil will do a good job, Lube technology has come a Looooong way.....

There are even some Very interesting Alternatives out there, Check out http://www.getg.com/, No imported oil there....

And it's available at Wal Mart if you use 5W-30. Personally, I hate Wal Mart.

You don't have to go Motorcraft because of the warranty. As long as you have proof that you serviced your vehicle at the right time and with the right stuff (receipts), you are covered. They have to cover you. It's the law.

Now if you want to use Motorcraft because you want to, there is nothing wrong with that.

valvoline will offer a nice warranty, guaranteeing your engine up to like 300k miles as long as you sign up before 125k and use their oil.

Nonsense.......all synthetic oils are close enough where you wouldn't notice a bit of difference in an analysis report.

Walmart is the cheapest on oil and motorcraft filters......they are by far the cheapest on gun ammo. At least purchasing those items doesn't pad the chinese economy.
