no inspections in ky unless you first register it in the state... then the pretty much just check the mileage and the vin to make sure it's not stolen.

honestly im all for inspections imagine if we didn't have them we would not take care of our vehicles as much, and also imagine the POS beaters with frames ready to snap in two due to rust driving around?

^^ Agreed! ^^

We used to have inspections here but were discontinued due to cheating and profiteering. Some inspection stations would make some pocket change on vehicles which didn't pass inspections.

I know you probably already got it inspected but axle seals do not matter for State inspections. Its not a Safety Issue.

May not be a safety issue, but it jeopardizes the integrety of the equipment you are using (be it via dyno or staining the concrete floor). An inspection mechanic has certain windows he can use so if he doesnt like your vehicle for example its leaking from a seal, he does NOT have to pass it even though everything else is fine. Maybe another garage would, maybe not.

if a inspector said my truck didnt pass because it leaked oil on his floor first id tell him its a shop not a operating room then id kick his a**, you dont fail a vehicale because you dont like it and if you inspected mine and said it failed because you dont like it i would beat you, that just aint right failing a truck because you dont like it.
end rant

Hell id be worried about passing period. They r dicks on customized vehicles. I tried to register my old ranger and they ended up impounding it because they said it was unfit to be on the roadway
