Yo, hey, check this out : http://www.fordrangerforum.com/how-s...w-98-09-a.html

That will probably fix your problems.

I just noticed yours is a 97 so it doesn't fit in the date range, so i would look at other how to guides and see if you can find one thats date appropriate. However, once you got the window off the process should be the same until you had to put the window on but then you would just do backwards what you did to get it off.

yeah, i looked into resealing my third brake light today, so I'm gonna start with that, and if that doesn't work, then I guess I'll have to do something a little more expensive. :/

i got clear silicone and placed a small bead across the joint of the weatherstripping and the back wall , it was a $4 fix ,piece of cake. Smoothed it out with a wet finger , smaller the bead the better(silicone shines in the sun).

Buy a big tube and a caulking gun. It is a lot easier to apply then with the little tubes they sell.

I used a small tube of black silicone with a plastic putty knife. I spread the rubber seal open from the body with the putty knife and applied a small bead into the opening as I moved along the seal. If any seaped out I cleaned it up with a damp cloth. No more leaks and no ugly silicone residue.
