Default Went to the junkyard today

I went to a junkyard today for the first time ever and had alot of fun. I got most of the stuff I went for, OHC w/ green lights, gauge bezel, ford and ranger logos, and my uncle bought me an autoddim mirror. Got all that for $15

After I got home I put the OHC up against the headliner and it seems the the curve is different, idk its hard to tell I guess without having it in. The thing is though, this one came out of a Mercury Mountaineer, not an Explorer. Are they the same shape and how well will it fit the headliner in my 2002 Mazda?

I'm pretty sure it was a 97 and I forgot the temp sensor the first time around lol, we stopped at a smaller junkyard on the way home and got one.

Yup! Perfect man! Good grab! Just so you know the auto dim requires 2 30 amp relays. I like to use the OEM ones and you can find them under the hood in the relay box...alot cheaper and better than the aftermarket ones

Ok I didn't know that the mirror needs those relays, I'll probably hold off on installing that then till I go back and get the side mirrors and I'll get the relays then

I dont believe the do, some are heated and have puddle lights. Try to go for the 06+ ranger sideview mirrors if you find them, That is one of my favorite mods!

Oh I thought they did for some reason, good thing I didnt pull any that would have been a big disappointment. I love those newer ranger mirrors, I never thought of that, how hard are they to put on?

I put the longer overhead console out a 2002 mountaineer in my 2010 b4000 and it fits great.

Clinton/someone correct me if I'm wrong but I'm thinking you only need the relays for the auto dimming mirror install if you want to control the headlights with it as well. For just auto dim install not needed?
