Default AVS Window Visors, any probs?

I've heard that the AVS "in channel" visors cause problems when putting the power windows up. They still use 3M tape unlike the WeatherTech product. I just can't bring myself to spring for the extra expense of the WeatherTech visors. Anybody have any experience with the in channel units?

Thanks STL, that's what I was hoping to hear. The problems are probably the result of improper installation.

I've got the AVS ones and they will have been on a year in April, they work great, no problems. Wouldn't have another vehicle without them.

that's only the newer vehicles that are having a problem. because they have a safety feature so they won't smash stuff because they are auto up. we don't have an auto up feature

I've been using AVS in channel since 2001 on several trucks with and without power windows. I have them on my 2010 with power windows and no problems at all.
