Doesn't bother me one bit. I actually laugh when I see people blocking out the numbers on their plates on forums. I think it's going to take somebody a lot of work to steal your identity through your license plate.

I also take pictures of peoples rigs whether they see me do it or not. If they get mad, too bad so sad. It's a free country. Or at least it's supposed to be.

Most people would not mind at all. But they may not want to have the license plate includes.. I don't know why?. Only Cops and other law enforcement has access to those files, and even then they need a reason. They have to log all plate look up's. The fed's even come in every couple of months and review the plate look up's.
1985 A very good year. Made in the USA, that's why it's running today!. It's a antique, although some people don't think it's old enough to be a "Antique"..

Anyone who takes photos should read the Photographers Rights

Here's a short section from that document.

The general rule in the United States is that anyone may take photographs of whatever they want when they are in a public place or places where they have permission to take photographs. Absent a specific legal prohibition such as a statute or ordinance, you are legally entitled to take photographs.

I'm a professional photographer so I know the legal rules (but thanks that's great information!), so I know it's not illegal. I was just asking if other truck owners thought it was cool or if they took offense to it.

I might look small and yes, I'm a chick, but I shoot, throw, hit, and hunt. I highly suggest you don't mess with my truck!
