Default just a quick question

I have one question that seems like a dumb one, but Ill ask anyway

When i read in my Haynes book about repairs to my truck, do I look under SOHC or pushrod? I know my truck in a OHV, but which do I look under in the book?

SOHC= Single Over Head Cam, Pushrod engine has cam in block.

If still unsure, pull top (aka "rocker arm" or "valve cover") and if cam you have SOHC, if Pushrod you have rocker arms and no visable cam. It is better to ask than to f -it up.

Most people just need the Haynes/Chilton books to CYA but would rather ask questions. Your book will have pics to help you ID engine.

Congrats on being smart enough to buy manual.
