Re: What's your 4X4 Rangers MPGs?
2006 4.0 extended cab 4x4 5spd. I honestly average about 17-18, and thats with my 33's. I am 4.10 geared tho so that helps with the bigger tires but I was seeing 18.4 average with the stock 235's. This was about 80 percent highway 20 city.

Re: What's your 4X4 Rangers MPGs?
Before lift/tires I was doing about 16-17 in city with a mildly heavy foot. Could of probably gotten 18city if I babied it more. Now I do around 15 in city. No clue about hwy either way.

Re: What's your 4X4 Rangers MPGs?
intown averages 17mi, to a gallon in overdrive,15 in drive, highway it gets 19 to 20. It's needing plug wires this year and new cap n rotor. My little 7.2 or 7.9 gallon tank still allows under $20 at the pump but barely at $3.10 a gallon WHEW!

Re: What's your 4X4 Rangers MPGs?

Re: What's your 4X4 Rangers MPGs?
275 to 300 miles per tank .
I fill up with about 13 gallons
So I think its around 23 per gallon
275 divided by 13 gallons , give or take a few
I'm happy wiht that ....
