Dang thats alot of miles for an 06. I just bought a 2000 and it had 156k on it. I found out last week that it had a blown head gasket so im getting a new motor put in it now, cause i would be putting double the money into it if i got the bad head rebuilt and then the other one went bad. But if it looks like its really been taken care of its up to you man. Id be a little weary of that many miles but its your decision.

My 05 had about 150,000 on it when I bought it. But it was taken care of VERY well. So check it out and be CONFIDENT with your purchase.

If the prices is right and there is a small powertrain warranty in the deal, why not try it out

I believe i can get it for around $6000. Miles are all freeway. I am guessing it has no warranty nor any service records

What options does it have, I know here in Ottawa you can get quite a few 2007-2008 Sport with less then 60K Kms for $8-9,000

IMO the price isn't too bad, see if he can include like a 6 month warranty. If he is really confident in his product then it shouldn't be problem to include it in there. If he acts weird about it then I would walk away and wait for another one. $0.02

Ask some questions about it, if they seller avoids questions then I'd walk away. It never hurts to go check it out, if that's an option. Best of luck.

I would keep on eye out on the 4x4 system, the shift on the fly system is a great weakness for rangers and its very common for the system including the electirc knob inside to make your 4x4 system beserk. If its a 3L, some of them have been know to have blown headgaskets but some 3L are quite reliable some people say.
