Default A few problems...

So over the past week i have been struck with some bad luck.

firrst, my red brake light began to come on and stay on and now its always on...im not exactly sure if its the ebrake light because it never comes on when i push in the brake.

secondly, my abs light came on without warning i have no idea if i did anything for it to happen or not...

and lastly i decided to run my truck straight piped for one night just to be cool then my check engine light came on unexpectedely???

Any ideas whats going on?

As far as the "brake light" coming *on*,something you might wanna try first is...while pulling/releasing the "emergency brake lever",.."pull the emergency brake pedal up". Then look to see if the "brake light" goes out.
Some times the pedal can hangup or droop down a click or two,...
and while now not fully retracted, will allow/set off the "brake light" to be illuminated as if the brake pedal is activated.
.....ie: Emergency Brake is *ON*.

When my e brake like was on and abs light was on like how yours was it was because my brakes were literally falling apart on the drivers side front.....(thank you previous owner). Bolt was missing and another was lose. Fixed that and the lights went out. And a check engine light can be on for tons of stuff. Get the code checked

^ Do this, and do it as soon as possible. If your fluid is low, then take a look at your rear drum brakes to see if they are leaking fluid.
