i have a 2001 4x4 standard cab with the 3.0 L with 'bout 266,700 miles on it. No major problems still runs but i suspect the transmission and engine are getting worn... just starting to feel a little less peppy and a like it is starting to struggle a little. Also may be starting to have a problem with the front end. I will probably get it tuned up and see how far it will continue to go.


I have had it for 150k and the only expensive thing was the electrical shut off to the fuel pump like a little fuse burned up ended up putting in a fuel pump even though that wasn't the problem... Just a little switch that should have been maybe like 20 bucks.

So I am happy with mine just wish they'd keep working on fuel efficiency. That is issue number one to me. you can tell by the number of miles i drive.

278,000 miles, 89 supercab 4x4 with 2.9. The 2.9 was rebuilt in 94 when it had only 145,000 and thanks to the world products heads will likely run forever Been through 2 clutches, 2 driveshafts, 2 radiators, 3 alternators, and 2 starters though, but it will still make it anywhere you want it to go

2016 Ford Fusion SE. 1.5L EcoBoost. 6-speed Auto. White Platinum Tri-Coat Metallic. 18" 5 spoke black rims. Daily Driver.

I retired my original factory engine at 156,000 miles when it was losing compression on the #6 cylinder, and replaced it with a new one from Portland Engine Rebuilders, Portland, OR.

When I traded the old one in, the engine shop said the head was cracked from the spark plug hole to the cylinder.

I've got 2,700 miles on my new one. It's just like having a brand new truck again!
