Default Modifying my ranger questions

Hey guys just reviewing my parts catalog to have a wish for xmas and stumbled on a few things that I wanted your opinion on.

I was thinking of installing:

-roush mustang pedal covers
-a superchip tuning module, or a Jet ford performance module
-a powerflow pro fit splashguards
-LED tailgate fire strip by Bully (Pilot)
-I was looking for an exhaust tip (since a new exhaust system is out of the budget, but can't seem to find any. Does any one know of a good alternative or should I just go through ford. I see some exhaust tips beyond sold as improving the sound of your truck but is there any fact to this?
-I was also looking at a leather shift knob, I've heard of some XLTs being sold with leather shift knobs, but i cant' find any. Do I have to go through the dealership for this as well?

What kind of opinion are you looking for? Pedals are gonna be personal preference but I'll gladly give you my $0.02 with a pic. I know nothing about the tuning and splash guards are another I'd probably need a pic of. Tailgate line of fire is awesome (I have the Recon White Lightning which I recommend 'cause it has reverse lights in it also). I know nothing about exhaust and I've never heard of the XLT w/ a leather shift knob. I've had two XLTs and both shifters have been like a rubbery plastic which I guess could LOOK like leather but I'd be surprised if it was leather.

I saw a lot of people talking about magnaflow and gibson exhaust, how much would one run, just a single vs a dual and should i just get the muffler and tip? Does the performance exhaust really help, I know it claims to add up to 30HP but how is in a SOHC 4L?

Just a heads up... ranger shifter knobs aren't screw on like most vehicles so it's quite the endeavor to swap it out... I'm not a fan of the pedals personally.

Depends what you're into.

-Hids/Ultra white bulbs
-Steps
-Lift or leveling by torsion bars adjustment w/alignment
-Multimedia Stereo
-Speakers (either new speakers, or adding tweeters to your existing system)
-Tint
-Remote starter
-Full/Bull bar
-Dual exhaust

the list goes on..

I'm not saying the initial ideas are bad though
