i believe they put a 2.5 inch on there.

i wouldnt mod it if your still under warranty. not unless the mod is changeable. If something goes wrong and youve added something aftermarket theyll probably void it. theyre kinda wierd about that kind of stuff. if you do any mods before your warrantys up just make sure it something you can undo before you take it to the dealer for work.

I've modded a few things in my Ranger... Even though I'm leaving my engine 100% stock. Powertrain is the big thing I'm worried about. Even though I think I only have like a 36k mile warranty on it. And I'm already at 16k

What will void a warranty is up to the service manager. Might be smart to stop by on a slow day and ask your local SM what he thinks.

Wrong, unless it's only covered by the dealer you bought it from and not by the automaker for some reason. Mfg warranties must be honored at any dealer. The service manager at any one may "interpret" the requirements but with $billions at stake the final decision isn't left to these leisure suits. What if it's his day off or he conveniently "forgets" the day your Ranger comes in on the hook?
