Default Looking to buy a fuel tank 97 Splash

I just bought a nice 97 Yellow Splash. I filled it up and gas came out from under the truck. So I looked and found that the filler tube was cracked. So I bought a new one went to put it in and found the connector that connects the fillet tube to the tank was broken off at the rim of the tank So I am not a happy guy and it is no one to blame but me. So I have been looking for a fuel tank (OK as big as I can get) to put in this. Does any one have any ideas where to buy one. You look on line it is all filler tubes. I found one tank and it says it does not fit my application.

BOMK the tanks are all interchangeable, only difference is the filler tubes............I've got one for a 99 stepside, but I'm too far away!

Yours should be the same as a 93up I believe...............

Thanks I have been to the ford dealers and after parts dealers and no one has one An the Scrap yards are looking but no one has found one yet.

Thanks for the info. So as long as it is a frame mounted Ranger it could work?

LMC truck should have 'em. my buddie bought one for his 86 F350 from them and it showed up quick, and fit just as good as the original. price was decent too.

Thanks guys for all the info I learned several things chasing this one down. I bought one today and it will be here by Friday (so they say)

Skylark65 that site is great they have really good part break outs. Thanks

wyman00 thanks that was a great offer. I live in Dunedin so if I thought it would have fit I could have drove up to pick it up.

Thanks

----------

Rat Ranger thanks I had been on the phone all Friday using that site. It is great for finding parts. Thanks for your response. Butt to no avail
