They didn't put a sticker inside your door frame with the original mileage on it? How many miles were on it?

It was logged into the service report. If u do a car fax it will show up also.
I would think they have to also report it to the DMV

it was already d.o.a when they got it, they had no clue what the milage was, i had them change the oil and filter, so no math needed. the last time they log the milage was at 500 miles when i had them change the oil for the first time. so its free miles for me

Just my thinking and my first cup of coffee...

Isn't the odo data stored in the ECM?
The new cluster should have picked up the original mileage from there unless they also changed out the ECM as well.

If you have a different warranty than the standard 3 year / 36,000 miles then your warranty is still the same unless they also gave you a new bill of sale too.

When I installed two different year gauges in my ranger. It came up with the correct mileage when I turned the key over.

Thx for sharing . Just want to keep up on stuff found as I have the 2010 . So far so good here with no issues . Has to go back as when I don't let it warm up , I jump right on the highway , I get a gas smell , and on the alarm the remote start stopped working . A few other things but nothing serious except for the 2 items above .

No work on the computer at all ?

if it was it didnt send my original milage to the cluster, the dealer told me up front that it would have 0 miles again, they had no way of telling how many miles were on it before it went out, as far as the warranty goes the dealer told me i now have a 36,000 mile or 3 years warranty.
