I'll have to check. My insurance diden't mention that the state takes priority in mileage use. If thats the case I should get even lower rates if I have to switch to a low mileage.

The others around here have severe engine problems and severe rusting. Mine has a little bit of rust that I am fixing. With the second engine. The transmission has no issues, the rear has no issues. And get this: The heater works!. There are new hoses for the radiator and heater. And looks like the heater coil is new also. It does get warm in the cab.

When I dollied it home, the engine wasen't running. It was spitting and spurting... I fixed all the vacuum leaks (I found 2), give her a tune up and she purrs. No smoking, very stable and running right. They must have broken the dip stick tube putting the second engine in because there was oil comming out of the base of the dip stick tube while running. I found a 2.3 in the junk yard. Got the stick. It's the same block as the 2.0. Cleaned up the tube, painted it and put it in. Fits like a glove, no more oil comming out.

The only thing I can imagine about the vacuum is the guyes working on this truck had no idea about the vacuum lines, and I suppose they gave up on it, thats why I have it. I installed 13 light fixtures for it. I am a old electrician. Took me 1 day and a 1/2 to install the lights for this commercial building and he signed over the truck. Borrowed a friends dolly and took it home.

I suppose I should take some before pictures of the engine and compartment, and the interiour and then take some pictures after I get the restration finished. I'll see if i can post some pictures Would you like me to contact you after I get em posted in my album here?. I think you will be suprised of the good condition this truck is in after all these years. I did actually get a beauty of a truck.

I was looking for a project truck to do, and this turned out to be a good one. Even though it's a "New Antique"... I love this truck, and so does my family. It's older than all my kids!..
There, I took some before pictures before I start getting to tearing the interiour and the under carrage. The pictures are up in my Picture album.

NJ says 1500 a year, although I purchased 3,000 per year from my insurance company. I'll give them a call and actually find out. I'll also call the state and ask them.
